Ashley’s job involves reviewing year end accounts, personal tax returns and management accounts, overseeing the personal tax workflow and taking sign-off meetings with clients.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys playing football and golf and socialising in general. He even runs his own football team!

Megan’s job includes managing the marketing strategy for MCA across all marketing activities including newsletters, SEO and paid media as well as being the first port of call for all new enquiries.
Outside of work, Megan loves eating and making food! In particular, she loves cooking Indian and Mexican food and is always wanting to try new cocktail bars and restaurants – Dishoom is one of Megan’s favourite restaurants! After lockdown in 2020 she really got into baking and now loves the challenge of making cakes.
I've worked at MCA in the past but only recently joined as a Marketing Manager.
Marketing Manager.
No day is the same really as cliché as that sounds! I could be uploading blog posts to the website, writing the newsletter, analysing data from Google Analytics, helping with the strategy for our advertising and SEO, helping create paid ads and more.
The vast variety of tasks that I get to be involved in. In marketing nothing stays the same and it's all a learning curve, so I love to continously learn new ways of doing things.
I absolutely love food! I love baking and cooking at home but I also love going out for dinner. I'm always on the look out for new recipes and cuisines to try!
I'm initially quite a quiet person but once someone gets to know me I'm very talkative - my sister and boyfriend can vouch for that!
This is really difficult... can I have two? Either rump steak with skinny fries, blue cheese sauce and buttered veg or fully loaded nachos with guacamole, sour cream, corn, lime, cheese and chorizo - can you tell I love food?!

I have the independence of how I will work on the accounts but still following the standards. Also, I have the capacity to guide and help my teammates and teach them the things I know.

I work as an Accountant.
My day starts with checking my emails. Then we have our team meeting where we discuss our work for the day. After the meeting, I prepare accounts and sometimes prepare personal tax returns.
Preparing the financial statements or accounts for clients. As an Accountant, a reconciled trial balance gives me a feeling of satisfaction!
I love spending time with my family, especially with my 3 year old daughter. I also like watching Korean dramas and swimming.
I still watch Spongebob Squarepants! And I really love grocery shopping. I do it once or twice a week and I consider it as 'me' time - please don't call me boring haha!

Jhoana’s role involves completing bookkeeping and VAT returns as well as preparing accounts. Outside of work, Jhoana likes to play badminton, read books, listen to music, play games and eat at restaurants.

Trevor is an experienced Accountant with 20+ years’ experience, he has held roles in both Practice and Industry. He has loved being in finance and helping clients/customers throughout his career.
Trevor’s current work includes review of statutory accounts, preparation of accounts for Limited companies , Sole Traders and Partnerships and management of client relationships at MCA.
Outside of work Trevor is a Cat lover and enjoys looking after his four cats. He loves travel and has particularly enjoyed holidays in the Caribbean. A lot of Trevor’s evening are spent playing board games with his wife from his varied collection , Chess still being the most favourite!
Mel’s role involves speaking with existing and new clients by talking them through their numbers as well as helping them grow better and more profitable businesses. Mel does this in a variety of ways including accounts review meetings, coaching and accountability sessions, Business Energisers and by running educational webinars and events. Mel’s role is also to direct the business and to ensure that it is achieving its goals. For this to happen, Mel ensures that her team are supported, have the direction and training that they need and are motivated and happy within their roles to deliver to MCA’s clients the promises that Mel makes to them.
Outside of work, Mel loves spending time with her children and her new baby grandson. She enjoys discovering new places to visit, eating out and shopping. Mel also really loves spending time in the garden and having a go at growing roses and her own vegetables!

My days are varied but generally we'll have a team meeting, I'll then review some files, I'll answer some queries from clients, delegate out work and follow up on outstanding issues.
Working with people, knowing that what we do makes a differences to business owners and entrepreneurs.
I love cooking (and eating), and enjoy entertaining. I read, I garden and enjoy doing puzzles. I have 2 dogs and love talking them for walks in the countryside.

There isn’t really a typical day in my role but lots of answering the phone, meeting and greeting clients, managing Mel’s diary and doing all the ad hoc tasks anyone needs me to do.
I love the fact there is no typical day, every day is different. I also love getting to talk to and get to know all our clients.
I am a big sports fan; I love watching most sports, but football is my number one go to followed closely by F1. I have been a Reading fan since I was 7.
I am currently training for an ultra-marathon in 2024.

I’m an Accountant.
It varies every day, but morning meetings would always kick off as first and then yes, I do year end accounts, self-assessment tax returns, P11Ds, VAT, Bookkeeping and perform some adhoc tasks as needed.
Engaging myself to different client industries and to be able to expound my accounting and analytical skills is my fave part of the job! There is always a room for improvement every day.
I do love anime and reading manga. However if am not that ‘lazy Mary’ I love strolling around old places in the city especially those places with remains of Spanish colonial times.
I always join pageants until early years in high school. HAHA. Its just that reality hits me when my height stops at 4’11 so I need to do a detour (haha!).

I’m an Accountant.
I start the day by attending to my emails while drinking my coffee and then look over my to-do list and start working on my task that have my top priority. I spent most of my time working on with the bookkeeping records of various clients and making sure that records are up-to-date and completing the accounts assigned to me. As an accountant, we aim to deliver a reliable and excellent service to our clients, so everyday we are focus on making it happen.
I love working and collaborating with the team and meeting new people/clients and I love that there is always something new to learn.
I am actually a homebody, so I love staying at home watching movies and Korean series and spending time with family.
I am not sure but I think most people don’t know that my first choice of career was to become a Soldier and soon become a lawyer too.
